One of Australia's brightest young netball talents has joined Mizuno's team of sponsored athletes. 21 year old O'Brien made her Suncorp Super Netball League debut for the NSW Swifts in 2017. She also has experience at youth national level being part of the Australian under 17, under 19 and under 21 squads. The NSW Swifts mid-court had a great debut season in 2017 and had a positive start to the 2018 season before going down with injury and now she is looking forward to getting back on court during the 2019 season to pick up where she left off. Mizuno Australia's Head of Sport Shane Holub is thrilled with the addition, saying; "Claire is the perfect fit for Mizuno. On court Claire has many positive assets to her game. Shes strong, agile, clever and reads the game well. Off court, she’s admired and well respected by her team mates and peers.
