Hype Launch & Raffle Returns Policy
Due to the exclusive and limited nature of Hype raffle releases, standard returns and exchanges policies are modified for these products. By entering and purchasing through a raffle, customers agree to the following terms.
1. Limited Availability
Raffle footwear is released in highly limited quantities. As such:
- Exchanges (including size exchanges) are not guaranteed and, in most cases, will be unavailable.
- Customers are encouraged to ensure correct sizing before entering the raffle. REFER TO SIZE GUIDE ABOVE
2. Change of Mind Returns
Due to the limited and exclusive nature of these releases, we do not offer returns, refunds, or exchanges for change of mind. This includes incorrect size selection or change in preference.
3. Faulty or Incorrect Items
- If your item is faulty or you receive the wrong product, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.
- We will assess the issue in accordance with Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

Inspired by visions of distant worlds and the limitless possibilities of the future, the Mizuno MXR x AFEW reimagines a classic Y2K running silhouette through the lens of conceptual design and footwear futurism. Developed in collaboration with Düsseldorf-based sneaker retailer AFEW, this exclusive edition transforms the MXR with unique detailing, dystopian-inspired elements, and a striking desert-toned palette.
Drawing inspiration from arid landscapes and imagined civilizations beyond our own, the design blends sandy hues of Fog, Tiger Eye and Desert Palm with a series of bespoke updates that elevate the original MXR DNA. A custom toe box, reworked tongue construction and wrap-around quick-lace system create a distinctive technical aesthetic, while asymmetrical RunBird branding, unique midsole detailing and custom insole graphics complete the design.
Balancing performance heritage with forward-thinking design, the Mizuno MXR x AFEW is a bold exploration of what footwear can become when creativity knows no boundaries.
