FITTING OPTIONS AND SWING DNA
WOOD AND HYBRID FITTING
NANOALLOY™’s unique microscopic polymer dispersion produces a face that dynamically changes its elasticity at impact.
IRONS FITTING
The M-15, successor to the Mizuno Pro 245, offers a fully integrated progression of performance from long iron to wedge.
WEDGES FITTING
Engineered for precision and versatility, the T-1 and T-3 offer unmatched feel and control for golfers of all levels.
PUTTER FITTING
M.CRAFT City Series is a collection of precision-forged putters inspired by the spirit and character of Japan’s most iconic cities.
The Optimizer has become recognized as the most effective way to start any fitting session, by measuring over 40 data points within the player’s swing – their unique Mizuno Swing DNA.
Mizuno’s Swing DNA system then matches the player’s unique DNA to a map of over 50 iron shafts – shortlisting the best 3 to test.
Using the same Mizuno Swing DNA, the software can also identify lie angle, full set make up and the best suited Mizuno ball model.
Once the Swing DNA software has given its recommendations, we utilise the Trackman 4 launch monitor to test, compare, and verify what performs best for your game.
Frequently asked questions
What is the process for a fitting at Mizuno?
After arriving at our head office and notifying someone at reception of your arrival, you will be taken into our Performance Centre by your fitter. From there you will hit a few balls to warm up, before the fitting process begins with our 3D Swing optimiser. Once your 3 swings have been recorded, you will go through and test all of the different recommendations to see what suits your game best.
What do I need to bring?
Bring your current clubs so that the fitter can compare your setup to what is recommended in the fitting, and remember to wear clothing that you find comfortable to play golf in.
Will I receive my recommended specifications after the fitting?
No, once the fitting has been completed, your recommendations will be sent to a retailer of your choice and it will be up to them to disclose your specs with you before purchasing any equipment. However, while you won't have access to your recommendations, the fitting will be free of charge.
How long does the fitting take?
If you are after a full set of clubs, the fitting will take around 90 minutes.
If you are only wanting a set of irons, or an individual club, the fitting will take 60 minutes or less.
If you are unsure how long you require, please book a full bag fitting.
