TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

1.       By purchasing or redeeming a gift card issued by Mizuno Oceania Corporation Pty Ltd (ABN 24 130 223 924) (we, us or our), you agree to be bound and to comply with these terms and conditions.

 

PURCHASING A GIFT CARD

2.       Our gift cards can only be redeemed for products on our website.

3.       When you purchase a gift card, details of the gift card will be sent to you or your chosen recipient by email. The gift card will include a unique code which will be required to redeem the gift card. The unique code on a gift card should be treated as cash and cannot be replaced if lost or stolen. We are not responsible if a third party uses your gift card unique code.

4.       Our gift cards expire 3 years from the date of purchase. It is your responsibility to keep track of the expiration date. We will not send you any reminders of when your gift card will expire. Any unused credit will expire on the expiration date, and cannot be redeemed after this date.

5.       If you are purchasing a gift card for another person, you should ensure that they are aware of these terms and conditions, and the relevant expiry date of the gift card.

REDEEMING YOUR GIFT CARD

6.       You can redeem your gift card by heading to your shopping cart on our website and at checkout, by entering the unique gift card code.

7.       If the amount of your gift card does not cover the total price for the items you wish to purchase, you will need to pay the remainder of the purchase with another payment method, or with another gift card.

8.       Your gift card can be used in conjunction with a discount code. Any terms applicable to any discount code are set our separately on our website.

9.       Gift cards cannot be used to purchase products that are released through limited release systems, including but not limited to raffling systems, ballot entries, or exclusive queue launches (EQL).

10.    Gift cards are not redeemable for cash and cannot be returned for a cash refund or exchanged. This clause does not seek to limit any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law. Gift cards cannot be used to purchase gift cards.

11.    Any unused balance will remain as credit on the gift card and is not transferable for a cash payment. Unfortunately, additional values cannot be added to existing gift cards.

12.    If a purchase made using a gift card is cancelled or returned, the portion of the purchase attributable to the gift card will be refunded as credit to use on our website only.

LIABILITY

13.    You are responsible for use and safety of your gift card, and are liable for all transactions made using your gift card.

14.    You must not use a gift card in any manner that states or implies that any person, website, business or product or service is endorsed or sponsored by or otherwise affiliated with us or any of our subsidiaries or affiliates.

15.    Your use of the gift card may be declined where there is fraud, deception or reasonable suspicion of illegal activities in connection with your use.

Compliance Note

Mizuno issues all E-Gift Cards in compliance with Australian Consumer Law and associated regulations:

  1. Minimum Validity: E-Gift Cards are valid for a minimum of three (3) years from the date of issue, unless otherwise specified for exempt products or services (e.g., limited-time events). If no expiry date is displayed, the card does not expire.

  2. No Post-Supply Fees: No activation, account-keeping, or balance inquiry fees apply after purchase. Permitted fees under law may include reissue fees for lost/damaged cards or booking fees that apply equally to all payment methods.

  3. Consumer Guarantees: These terms do not exclude, restrict, or modify any rights or remedies you may have under the ACL. You may be entitled to a replacement, refund, or compensation where goods or services purchased with an E-Gift Card fail to meet statutory guarantees.

  4. Cash Redemption: E-Gift Cards cannot be redeemed for cash, except where required by law (e.g., when a balance is below a statutory threshold in some states/territories).
