On Friday, September 21, 2018, Mizuno signed a Brand Ambassador Agreement with Fernando Torres from Sagan Tosu FC in the Japanese League and a member of the Spanish national football team.

Fernando Torres will wear Mizuno football boots starting from Saturday, September 22 during the Sagan Tuso Japanese league match. He will also provide feedback for the advancement and development of Mizuno football-related products, and will be involved in advertising, communications and publicity activities for Mizuno apparel products outside of the football category.

Fernando Torres commented on signing with Mizuno saying;

“It is a great honour for me to conclude a Brand Ambassador Agreement with such a historic sports brand as Mizuno. I greatly enjoy the 100% stress-free comfort their boots ensure during play, and will continue to strive to achieve good results for the club with the Mizuno boots.”

Fernando Torres will wear Morelia Neo II boots during his Japanese football league match on Saturday, September 22.
