ATHLETE BIO

Jonathan will be representing Australia at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics, he will be competing in the Para-Triathlon in the PTVI category.

Jonathan debuted in 2012 representing Australia at the ITU world championships in Aukland, with he's guide Sam. Jonathan has been the Australian National & Oceania Champion in Paratriathlon from 2013-2017.

In 2015 Jonathan found out the devastating news that his disability category was not going to be sanctioned for Rio Paralympics. Jonathan's disappointment turned into hunger for success in the upcoming Tokyo Paralympics where he has been working continuously for the big day.

Most recently Jonathan has finished 3rd at the 2019 Tokyo ITU Paratriathlon World Cup confirming he's world ranking of 3rd in the World.

In he's downtime Jonathan is a proud speaker, he thrives on making a difference and inspiring others, in particular disabled youth. "Whether you have an ability, a disability, or both, the power of sport can change lives. It's changed mine."

The date has changed, not the dream.
